Week 1:

  • Immerse yourself in research

Week 2:

  • Perform research Monday-Friday.
  • Tuesday workshop on safety and ethics.
  • Project Overview Workshop
  • Grad Mentor Activity

Week 3:

  • Perform research Monday-Friday.
  • Tuesday's workshop on creating scientific presentations.
  • Game Night

Week 4:

  • Perform research Monday-Friday.
  • Mid-program interviews
  • Grad Mentor Activity

Week 5:

  • Perform research Monday-Friday.
  • Tuesday's workshop on graduate school application simulation.
  • Friday-Saturday camping trip.

Week 6:

  • Perform research Monday-Friday.
  • Train to be a chemistry camp counselor.
  • Chem Camp

Week 7:

  • Spend the mornings or afternoons as a chemistry camp counselor for two 9/10-year-old children. See: https://chemcamp.byu.edu/.

Week 8:

  • Perform research Monday-Friday.
  • On Saturday, Deer Creek Lake day.

Week 9:

  • Perform research Monday-Friday.
  • Practice presentation.

Week 10:

  • Perform research Monday-Friday.
  • Final Oral Presentation Symposium on July 30th.
